A Construction Draw Report is a statement about how near various aspects of a construction project are to completion and is used by lenders to release funds commensurate with that progress. The report system is designed so each project can have a unique budget break down and inspections can be made at arbitrary intervals. The system I built handles all phases of the report process on-line including set up, orders for new inspections, inspectors submitting new reports, review by staff and delivering the report to the lender. Besides percent complete for each line item the reports include notes, photos and an inspection history.
|The system allows budget set ups from a number of sources including, manually entered by staff, from predefined templates, copied from existing projects, XML documents sent over a third party service (SOAP) or entered by the lender. At each inspection supplemental reports such as a Property Status Report or Specification Check can be added along with photos of the property. Lenders can pull up the reports as on-line HTML documents or in PDF format. Reports can be generated in a number of formats depending on the needs of the lender.|
